lake-charlesLake Charles – December 14, 2009. Apostolic News. Apostolic Temple of Lake Charles is in the middle of building a very large beautiful edifice. The church has experienced consistent growth and has outgrown their present building.

While visiting last week their church, I noticed that the church was full with very little room for more growth.

There were about 350 people present on a Wednesday, which in most churches is a low night. The people are excited about their growth and their services are annointed with their singing and preaching.

Rev. Ricky Treece, pastor of Apostolic Temple, showed me the plans and pictures of what the building will look like upon completion. The new sanctuary will seat up to 1200 people with the possibility of adding balconies to increase the seating in the future. The design of the church is beautiful with the various patterns of brick artwork with arched windows, eyebrowed design under each window and accented brickwork in the arch. It is absolutely the most stunning brickwork that I’ve ever seen! All of the windows will be done in a stunning artwork of stained glass. The new sanctuary is due to be finished in the Spring of 2010.
