Mayors & KingManila – January 2, 2010. Apostolic News. The Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship was organized in 2008 with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When information became available on its website at www.worldwidepf.com, there was an immediate and steady e-mail response from Apostolic ministers around the world. Many of the ministers who expressed an interest in the WPF were from the Philippines. As a result of their interest, and by their request, several WPF representatives including Pastors Steve Buxton, Myles Young and Johnny King met with many pastors in various parts of the country during 2008 and 2009.

Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship Inc. has now been registered with the Philippine Security and Exchange Commission. On Sunday, December 6, Pastor Tim Merritt from Pineville, Louisiana and Pastor Johnny King from Calgary, Canada cut the ribbons for the opening and dedication of the headquarters office Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship Inc. in the Philippines. Eighty-three people were present for the dedication service and one lady received the Holy Ghost.

The lower floor is tastefully furnished as office space and the upper floor can accommodate ministers’ seminars and meetings. High speed internet connections and projection equipment allow the top floor to be used for offsite classes through Apostolic School of Theology (AST). Preparations are now being made to register AST as an accredited institution with the government of the Philippines. There is much interest among the Filipino ministry in attending classes through AST.

Local Pastor, Noel Mayor is to be thanked for his excellent and tireless work in helping to organize the activities of the WPF Inc. After Pastor Mayor expressed his desire and intention to join the WPF, he was asked to be the official WPF liaison in the Philippines. More recently he was appointed as the Corporate Secretary of the fellowship. In addition to his volunteer work with the WPF, and pastoring two churches in the Metro Manila area, Noel Mayor is the Captain of the airport police and oversees the activities of over 600 police officers and 2000 security guards.

Office help is provided by a young minister from Pastor Mayor’s church. Brian Bernal is a hard working and industrious young man with a ready smile. You can find him most days at the WPF office.

Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship Inc. Headquarters office is located at No. 564 AGB Building, Unit 1, Quirino Avenue, Tambo, Paranaque, Metro Manila. Phone 028537530. E-mail: WPFPhils@yahoo.com.

  1. Great to read about Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship with expansion to The Philippines. We, the Apostolic Pentecostal church in Liberia, West Africa was established about six years ago. We now have about 41 churches and preaching points, 6 elementary and high schools, 1 health clinic, 1 children welfare center, etc. We are interested in fellowship and partnership for propagation of the gospel and the furtherance of God’s kingdom on earth. Our sixth general annual conference takes place February 8-13, 2010 in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, Liberia. Please visit with us
