Chile – March 5, 2010. Missionary Dan Barkley made it from Santiago to Concepcion with a van full of food for the Shane Hayes family. Brother Barkley will make two more trips this week taking food and water to the Hayes family and church people in Concepcion. CSI has already sent $15,000.00 for purchasing food, water, blankets and other supplies for Chile. At the present we ask your prayers for the safety of the Saints in Chile and our missionary families. There is rioting taking place as well as looting and burning of supermarkets and other places. Please help us by donating to Chile either via the website www.compassionservices.org or by sending a donation to CSI/Chile 8855 Dunn Road Hazelwood, MO 63042.

Compassion Services International was organized as a Christian relief and development service provider dedicated to providing emergency relief during, or in the aftermath, of disasters. By reaching forth to the hungry, destitute, sick, and the unfortunate, we are able to show the world something of God’s love. This program of relief was instituted to help in a practical way to compliment that love.

Since its inception and because of your willingness to share with the suffering, CSI has been able to help literally thousands in many nations of the world.  Needs continue to pour into our office from around the world.  In order for us to respond with the relief that is desperately needed, we seek your assistance.  Let us make this year the greatest year ever in the histdory of Compassion Services International as we provide for those that, due to no fault of their own, suffer needlessly.

Also, we have found out the information for where to send money for relief to Voz en el Desierto, the Apostolic organization that has lost four churches to the earthquake causing thousands of damage to their churches and some of their parishoners were killed in the earthquake. You can send funds to the following:
