Pastor Singh (middle with tie) with members of his church
Elk Grove, CA – March 4, 2010. The annual No Limits Conference started off with a bang when at the beginning of service they baptized Jasjit (Jesse) Singh, a Trinitarian ex-Sikh pastor. This is very historic for Apostolics since I am not aware of any Apostolic churches that are reaching out to Sikhs. Brother Singh has an incredible testimony on how God brought him out of Sikhism to the wonderful truth of the mighty God in Christ.Bro. Singh said that in 1990, his 1 year-old daughter, Jasleen Singh, pulled the television trolley and the television fell upon her. It caused her head injury and her eyes turned squinted. An eye surgeon operated upon her eyes and squint could be set right. With passage of time she almost lost her vision of right eye. Her vision of left eye was 20/20 and right eye almost blind. Bro. Singh tried a good number of eye surgeons but everywhere we received the reply that optical nerves cannot be repaired. That is when he started seeking the God of the Christians.

Nathaniel Wilson baptizing Bro. Singh.
Bro. Singh says, “we prayed to the Doctor of Doctors. While some Christian ministers prayed for her, she felt a strong flow of current passing through her body. This was the touch of Holy Spirit. Her vision came to normal in about six months. Now she is nineteen years old, a very cute child and does not wear glasses even. Lord had a plan to give His sign to my family.”
It was about 2 months ago that anther ex-Sikh pastor in Canada got to reading the book, The Oneness of God and the Doctrine of the Trinity by Kal Boora. The pastor in Canada was so impacted by the book that he contacted Bro. Kal Boora, who is also was raised in the Sikh religion, but now is a oneness Pentecostal. Bro. Boora explained more about the truth to him and so the pastor in Canada contacted Bro. Singh to let him know of the truth. Bro. Boora followed up with it and put them in touch with the Bro. Nathaniel Wilson, Bro. Curtis Young, and Bro. Myles Young. Bro. Singh was so impacted by these men that he decided to pack all his belongings and move to Elk Grove to start a Punjabi-speaking Pentecostal Church. As far as I know this could be the first Punjabi-speaking Pentecostal church in all of the U.S. To God be the glory!
