Steps to Secure Your Home from Danger

1. Place your computer in an open room like the Family or Living Room with the screen visible to most of the room.
2. Create a kid’s profile in the control panel with Parental Controls (PC)
3. Install Internet Filtering Software to your computer.
4. Add list of websites that you do not want anyone to visit in the “black list” feature of the filtering software.
   
5. Disable your wifi during night hours.
6. Get Weekly Reports of Activity.
7. Educate Your Kids on the Dangers of Internet.

Steps to Secure your Kids iPods, iPads and iPhones

1. Enable Restrictions with Parental Controls with password.
2. Disable the following on the device:

• Safari
• iTunes
• Installing Apps
• Deleting Apps
  
• Youtube

3. Install BeSecure app (same as Safari with filtering security) to your iPad or iPod.
4. Limit your child’s instant messaging (IM) contacts to a parent-approved buddy list.
5. Setup email so that only approved emails arrive in inbox.
6. Check weekly that only approved apps are on the device.
