Tulsa – November 04, 2009. The Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship (WPF) has put together a missions program that is designed to put many of its youth on missions deployments that can last from 3 months to 2 years. It has been designed to prepare youth for missions abroad and locally. The program launches November 9, 2009. It has partnered with Apostolic School of Theology to offer courses that will prepare the students for missions. Hope Corps provides four training courses online that can be taken for audit or credit. At the culmination of the four courses, students will travel to Belize for a two-week on-hands training camp. They will hold their graduation in the summer and deploy for their mission the following year. Although this is a pilot year, the following year great numbers are expected to participate. One WPF official believes that easily they can have 300+ participants next year. As of present, many are still inquiring about the present year’s program, so more students are entering the program. News has it that they will leave it open up to the middle of November.
