Kennett, Missouri -  April 29, 2010  Sis. Priscilla McGruder has passed on to be with the Lord at  4:27 PM (CST)  in her home in Kennett, Missouri. The early reports tells us that Sis. McGruder sat up smiled talked in tongues and took her last breath.

Surrounded by her loving family and in the comfort of her own home Priscilla Elaine McGruder passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010, following an extensive illness at the age of 61. She is survived by her husband of thirty four years Carroll L. McGruder, three children, six grandchildren and six siblings. Home Going Services will begin at 1 p.m., May 5, 2010, at First United Pentecostal Church, Kennett, Missouri.

“Some admired her for her talents….even desired a portion of her anointing. Others wished for her power in prayer and dedication to touch them.  Whether in singing or preaching; her powerful voice would wake up the “callings which are without repentance” inside us. She has been acclaimed; acknowledged; awarded; appreciated; and best of all elevated to a level of acceptance experienced by very few. We will miss her presence, but we will treasure her presentation. No one delivered a song quite like Priscilla could! Absent from the body; but, present with the Lord!!  We shall never forget the impact Priscilla McGruder made upon us all.
